The Fairtrade Action Network International Volunteer board met for the first time in Helsinki, Finland 8th November, 2008. The board will be in charge of coordinating the Fairtrade Action Network via three working groups: Future Action group, Information and Communication group and Financial coordination group.
All the groups are open to everyone who's interested in Fairtrade and ethical consuming, and will meet via skype, e-mail and also try to find other web based solutions. The main activities of each group are still to be defined - there are plenty of things to be done for a fairer world, come and pick the things you're interested in contributing!
